Dwight Jessie
Mr. Dwight Jessie was born and raised in Austin, Texas, where his passion for trucking began at the age of 8. Growing up in the homes of his maternal and paternal grandparents, influenced by his grandfathers, Veo Jessie and John Hardeman both of whom were truckers, This early exposure instilled in him a deep appreciation for the industry. In 2016, Dwight pursued his dreams by obtaining his CDL and starting his trucking career, initially driving over the road before transitioning to local routes.
In 2022, Dwight combined his passion for transportation logistics with his entrepreneurial spirit by launching AKH Transport. He returned to over-the-road driving as part of his strategy to build his brand and expand his vision. Now, he is focused on elevating AKH Transport while sharing his knowledge and skills with others. Through business development initiatives, he and his team aim to empower fellow truckers to thrive as entrepreneurs and assist them in building their business and personal credit.
Dwight embodies the belief that dreams can become reality and highlights the importance of always keeping hope throughout the journey. He inspires others with his motto, “Drive your Dreams into Reality.” Committed to fostering growth in the trucking community, Dwight is dedicated to paving the way for future generations of truckers—investing in their success, inspiring their journeys, and making a lasting impact.
